Initial consultation + assessment + program
Your Specific Needs and Goals
Initially there will be a thorough consultation with a full assessment to determine your current condition and identify your specific needs and goals.
From there an individualised program will be designed specifically for your one-on-one sessions that correctly addresses where you are currently at and where you ultimately want to be, including an optional ‘At Home Plan’.
This initial stage of training is aimed at restoring balance to safely and effectively build a strong foundation so that you can progress safely.
A variety of methods will be used to bring balance to the body through stretching, strengthening and self-care techniques including bodyweight/resistance training, yoga, advanced stretching and muscle energy techniques and trigger point therapy, using self-care tools and techniques.

Correct Technique and Form
A focus on correct technique/form and mastering the basics is key before you move onto more advanced/higher intensity training and full consideration needs to be taken into your unique characteristics you present with.
This initial stage 1 of training is often bypassed and I have treated many people over the years with Remedial massage therapy/training that have experienced injury and setbacks because of poor exercise prescription and incorrect technique that has been completely unsuitable to their bodies and experience.
‘Phase 2’ training is once you have a solid, integrated, balanced foundation to work from and you are ready to progress to a more advanced style of training or specific sport should you wish.

Keep Motivated and Focused
‘Maintenance’ is a monthly session to check in, keep you on track and an opportunity to reassess where you are at, your progress and ultimately where you want to be. It is also a good time to identify any minor issues before they develop into more complicated, compensatory patterns.
Maintenance sessions keep you motivated, focused and accountable and are key in preventing issues related to imbalance.
